  Serious Sam is a seriously fun game from the formerly unknown Crotation developer team CroTech. It pushed the boundaries of FPS games with its hundred monsters in huge, brightly lit outdoor areas and the still fast-paced gameplay. In addition, the game is quite funny and doesn't take itself too serious.

  
  

  The somewhat whacky story, beautyfull levels, a fast graphics engine, and serious amounts of monsters that you can mow down with a wide range of weapons that include a gorgeous flame-thrower and a huge canon shooting balls that are like nothing you have ever seen before.Some of the levels have over 700 monsters, and after you have run almost out of ammo for three times, walked backwards all the way to the start while still continously emptying barrels full of lead into the onrushing horde, you'll wish that feeling would never stop.
